Released on April 15, 2014 by games developer Betixon; the scheduled table game American Roulette Multiplayer is one of the three Betixon-owned multiplayer games, alongside Andar Bahar Multiplayer and Baccarat Multiplayer (2016). American Roulette Multiplayer is modeled on the American roulette, thus its zero and double zero.
American Roulette Multiplayer Game Characteristics
American Roulette Multiplayer’s loading page is strewn with casino chips and playing cards and their suits. In particular, the mobile version’s players should first mute or unmute the sound. The game’s main grid is set on a green background, which contrasts with the emerald-embedded mahogany-and-golden roulette wheel to the left.
American Roulette Multiplayer has timed betting and playing sessions. Players have approximately 30 seconds, which varies and may be fast-forwarded, to place chips.
American Roulette Multiplayer has, at bottom center, five casino chips: green-and-white $0.25, maroon-and-white $0.5, red-and-white $1, blue-and-white $5, and purple-and-white $10.
American Roulette Multiplayer has twelve inside/outside bet types: straight up (0, or 00, or numbers 1-36); split, street, trio, corner, five number, six number, column (top, middle or bottom columns marked 2:1), dozen (1st 12, 2nd 12, or 3rd 12), color (red, or black), parity (even, or odd), and low/high (1 to 18, or 19 to 36). The bets placed by fellow players are visible. Unfortunately, American Roulette Multiplayer has no call bets as it lacks a racetrack.
All American Roulette Multiplayer’s bet options require $0.25 minimum bet and $50.00 maximum bet, which are also the minimum and maximum table limits. When the betting session elapses, the main grid partially disappears to the right while the roulette wheel is centered. The dealer reads out the winning value, which is also showed in the wheel’s inner core.
The American Roulette Multiplayer’s payouts: straight up pays 35:1, split pays 17:1, street, or trio pays 11:1, corner pays 8:1, five number pays 6:1, six number pays 5:1, column, or dozen pays 2:1, and red/black, even/odd, or 1-18/19-36 pays 1:1. American Roulette Multiplayer has a (35X50) $1750.00 non-progressive jackpot.
American Roulette Multiplayer is a html5 game, with both desktop and mobile versions. There are “clear bet” and “undo bet” icons, but neither free spins nor automated games. At top left, there are: full screen, on/off sound, brief user guide, and statistics showing the last five cold numbers and hot numbers.
American Roulette Multiplayer is interactive game, thanks to its chat interface where the dealer texts the won amounts and winning numbers. Players can also chat with their counterparts using: emojis such as grinning face, joyous face, downcast face, heart-eyed face, gunnybag; or by, under “A”, clicking predetermined comments such as “I got lucky”, “Woohoo”, “Oh no…”, “That is FUN!!”, “Bring me luck!”, “Better luck next time”, or “Thanks!”.
Ambient background: jazz instrumental music. Sound effects: chinking, rattling, and dealer’s voice. American Roulette Multiplayer has animated 3D graphics, including: the roulette wheel rotating counterclockwise idly; and the roulette ball that rotates clockwise, crashes onto the ball deflectors, and settles shakily into the pocket.
