Dozen Based Triple Martingale Betting System

The Dozen Based Triple Martingale betting strategy is, as the name suggests, a variant of the traditional Martingale betting system which can be used when playing roulette either online or at a traditional bricks and mortar casino.

The original Martingale betting system, put simply, involves the bettor doubling their bet every time their bet loses. It is best employed on an even-money proposition on the roulette table, such as odds and evens, or black and red. Of course, you can use it on any bet on the roulette table, but the traditionalists would suggest even-money is best suited to Martingale and its variants.

However, to go slightly against the grain of the more traditional Martingale betting system users, the Dozen Based Triple Martingale betting strategy uses the ‘dozen’ bets, as I am sure you have worked out from the name. The ‘dozens’ are the bets on the first 12 numbers on the table, the second 12, or the third 12. So, 1-12, 13-24 and 25-36, and you can bet on each dozen as one of the ‘outside’ bets on the roulette table. If the ball lands in the dozen which you have bet on, your bet wins and it pays out 2-1. It is one of the simplest bets on the roulette table, which is why the Dozen Baser Triple Martingale betting strategy is one of the simplest betting strategies you can use when playing roulette.

So the traditional Martingale betting system uses a doubling idea when every bet loses, so it is easy enough to work out that the Dozen Based Triple martingale betting strategy uses a tripling idea every time a bet loses. The progression of the Martingale betting system in units is as follows: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32… In the Dozen Based Triple Martingale system, the progressions: 1, 3, 9, 27, 81, 243…

As you can see, the size of the bet starts to get out of control much more quickly than they would when using the traditional Martingale betting system. In this respect, the Dozen Based Triple Martingale betting system is a much riskier proposition when on a losing run, but when using it along with the ‘dozens’ instead of an even-money proposition, the rewards can be much greater than when using the traditional Martingale system. The reason for that is down to the fact, as mentioned earlier, that the odds for hitting a winning bet on the dozens are twice that of a regular even-money bet.

To understand it better, we can run an example. Let’s say that we bet on the first dozen of numbers (1-12), with a 1 unit bet. Our current outlay for our session is 1 unit, which we have on the table. If that bet wins, we have made a profit of 2 units for that sequence (1 unit at 2-1 odds, plus our initial stake back), and we start the sequence again with a 1 unit bet on the dozen of our choice. However, let’s say the bet loses (and that is more likely than not, simply because the odds are in favor of the bet losing), and we lose our 1 unit bet. Using the progression of the Dozen Based Triple Martingale system, our next bet must be 3 units. So, now our outlay stands at 4 units (our losing bet of 1 unit and our current bet of 3). If this bet wins, we will get a return of 6 units, plus our bet of 3 units back. So we would have a profit of 5 units and that would be our sequence over, meaning we could start back with a 1 unit bet on whichever dozen we want to bet on. Again, if this 3 unit bet loses, we then triple it and our next bet would be 9 units. If that bet loses, 27 units and so on as per the sequence or until your bankroll runs out.

So you can see how quickly things can escalate from the example – by the time you get to betting 27 units, you are already out 13 units, and if that bet loses, you are out 40, with the prospect of an 81 unit bet next. Of course, if that bet wins, you now have a profit of 122 units, but if it loses, you are now out 121 units.

The benefits to this system are that wins are far more lucrative than when using other betting systems, especially the traditional Martingale betting system. The risk/reward ratio is far greater than most betting systems, which makes it attractive to certain bettors, especially those looking for a buzz, and those bettors with a bankroll big enough to sustain such big swings.

However, it is not a betting system to use if you have a small bankroll, because it can quickly wipe you out. There is no guarantee that you will win after a few losing bets, so you may never recoup those initial loses, even if you have a large bankroll, simply because the table limits may come into play before you can win your money back.

That being said, the Dozen Based Triple Martingale betting strategy is a more fun strategy than its more conservative counterpart, if for no other reason that your outlay means that if you do win, you will win more than simply 1 unit for your trouble.
